Depart Arusha or JRO at arrival and drive southwest toward Tarangire National Park — entering the park for a full day game drive through the iconic baobab-studded savannah and along the life-giving Tarangire River.
Spend the day searching for massive elephant herds, lion prides, leopard, wild dog, giraffe, zebra, and over 550 bird species in one of Tanzania's most rewarding and most diverse national parks. A delicious bush picnic lunch is served in the field before an afternoon of continued game viewing and arrival at camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park — exploring the park's extraordinary groundwater forest, open floodplains, and alkaline lakeshore on a morning and afternoon game drive.
Search for Manyara's world-famous tree-climbing lions, encounter relaxed elephant herds in the forest, watch thousands of flamingos on the lakeshore, and discover hippo pools, buffalo herds, and 400+ bird species in this beautifully diverse and compact park. Bush picnic lunch served in the field. Continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Early 5:30 AM wake-up and depart Karatu for the dramatic descent into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater — the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa's most extraordinary natural wonders.
Spend a full morning on the crater floor searching for the critically endangered black rhinoceros, encountering lion prides, massive buffalo herds, elephant bulls, enormous hippo pods, and spectacular flamingo flocks on Lake Magadi. A crater floor bush picnic lunch is served before ascending the crater walls and returning to Arusha or JRO
